Because of the Centre’s location in the heart of the University of Calgary campus, conference staff can offer clients a variety of programs and services not found anywhere else.

MacEwan Conference and Event staff can arrange outdoor centre programs such as rock climbing, kayak rolling, guided nature walks and even volley ball. It’s a great opportunity to have a team building exercise without leaving the location of your meeting or event.

Recreation is just one resource available to clients. Thanks to the green surroundings clients can also move outside the typical meeting room. BBQs, Alberta smoke outs and grills are standard choices the centre offers along with more formal dining. All these are provided by an expert culinary team lead by top Executive Chef Mark Naphin.

Comfort and convenience is MacEwan Conference and Event’s specialty. The university campus is a self-contained community, offering dozens of services in a concentrated area.

Clients can workout at Health and Recreation, tackle errand and shopping lists in MacEwan Student Centre’s variety of retail stores or take in a performance at one of the university’s theatres. In addition, for those staying more than one day, accommodations are also on site.
